Priya spots a design bug on the checkout page while eating lunch at her desk. She opens the messages tab, clicks "+ New", picks Maya (designer) from the directory. New DM created. She types: "hey the CTA button is misaligned on mobile — see attached", drops in a screenshot, sends.

Maya's Firefox tab is on the Focus Report page. A little "1" badge appears on the DeskTrust chat bubble in the bottom-right of her admin dashboard (she's also an admin). She clicks it — the widget expands.

She sees Priya's message. Clicks the image to preview inline. Confirms Priya is right — the CTA is 4px off. She reacts with 👀, then types "on it — will push a fix by 2pm. want me to loop in @arun?"

She clicks "+ New" → "Group chat →". Names it "Checkout CTA fix". Ticks Maya and Arun. Clicks Create. The three-person group room appears in everyone's inbox at the top.

His screen was on GitHub. The chat widget pings. He sees the new group, opens it. Priya's summary is there, plus Maya's "on it" note. He reacts with 👍 and asks "what's the ticket #?"

Why it works
